Two Days at ChemBio Finland 2026 - Conversations That Confirmed What We're Building

Swizchem at ChemBio Finland 2026 - Booth 3m49, Messukeskus, Helsinki

ChemBio Finland is the leading fair for chemistry and biotechnology professionals across the Nordic and Baltic regions and this April, Swizchem was there. Over two full days at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre (Messukeskus), we set up at Booth 3m49 and got to work: talking chemistry, listening to researchers, and having the kind of honest, unfiltered conversations that no conference call can replicate. The energy across both days was exactly what you'd hope for researchers and industry professionals from chemical biology, materials science, and applied chemistry, all in the same space, genuinely curious about what everyone else is building. Day 1 set the tone. The booth was busy, the conversations were substantive, and we quickly realised that the questions people were asking were the right ones about precision, reliability, and what custom synthesis actually looks like in practice. One question came up again and again across both days: "What exactly is custom synthesis?" It was genuinely interesting and telling how many researchers and students were curious about it but hadn't yet encountered a clear explanation of how it works. At its core, what we do at Swizchem is straightforward: we create specific molecules that aren't available off the shelf, built to the exact specifications that a research or R&D programme requires. We also ran a short survey among booth visitors. The results were clear what researchers want most from a synthesis partner is chemical purity and quality, reliability and reproducibility, speed of delivery, and clear communication and transparency. These are exactly the values Swizchem is built around, and it was grounding to hear them reflected back directly from the people we serve. Beyond the booth, the broader ChemBio Finland programme - Chemistry Days, bioindustry seminars, industry speeches, and award ceremonies gave us a clear view of where the field is moving. Precision and reproducibility are no longer differentiators; they are baseline expectations. That aligns directly with what we're building. A special thank you to our team who represented Swizchem across both days - Madhuri, Amar, Katja, and Sadia. And to everyone who stopped by Booth 3m49: thank you. We hope it was the start of something useful.

Key Takeaways

  • Swizchem exhibited at Booth 3m49 at ChemBio Finland 2026
  • Event held at Messukeskus, Helsinki on 15–16 April 2026
  • Engaged with researchers from chemical biology, materials science, and applied chemistry
  • The most common question: "What exactly is custom synthesis?"
  • Visitor survey revealed top priorities: purity, reliability, speed, and clear communication
  • ChemBio Finland's own team reposted Swizchem's Day 1 update
  • Team members Madhuri, Amar, Katja, and Sadia represented Swizchem

ChemBio Finland 2026 reminded us why showing up in person still matters. The conversations were real, the questions were sharp, and the feedback confirmed that what Swizchem is building is exactly what the research community needs. We'll be back and until then, the conversation continues.
